Under general supervision or direct supervision to perform daily fueling, check and maintain fluid levels, wash vehicles and transport vehicles. Core Responsibilities Required to perform all routine daily vehicle servicing, preventive maintenance, general maintenance consisting of parts replacement only. Read and interpret maintenance manuals. Maintain good housekeeping and safety. Maintain proper service and maintenance records. Assist personnel of higher classification. Be able to perform work at skill level D, as defined as work requiring basic eye/hand coordination. Must be able to read, write and take verbal instructions. Work to be performed on a simple system (singular operation or function), with no precision tolerance required. Maintain allocation of inventory and restock shelve and bin locations. Will be required to work in each of the three garages (Spring Valley, Blooming Grove, and Middletown) for three (3) consecutive months each. Required Education/Experience High School Diploma/GED Relevant Work Experience Candidates must be able to perform heavy manual labor (push, pull and lift 45-60 lbs.), extensive walking, climbing and standing, and be medically qualified to wear a respirator. Required Candidate must successfully complete an Automotive Predictor Test. Required Licenses and Certifications Driver's License Required Other: Must possess a valid Class D motor vehicle operators license.
