Under general supervision or direct supervision to perform daily fueling, check and maintain fluid levels, wash vehicles and transport vehicles.
Core Responsibilities
- Required to perform all routine daily vehicle servicing, preventive maintenance, general maintenance consisting of parts replacement only.
- Read and interpret maintenance manuals.
- Maintain good housekeeping and safety.
- Maintain proper service and maintenance records.
- Assist personnel of higher classification.
- Be able to perform work at skill level D, as defined as work requiring basic eye/hand coordination. Must be able to read, write and take verbal instructions. Work to be performed on a simple system (singular operation or function), with no precision tolerance required.
- Maintain allocation of inventory and restock shelve and bin locations.
- Will be required to work in each of the three garages (Spring Valley, Blooming Grove, and Middletown) for three (3) consecutive months each.
Required Education/Experience
Relevant Work Experience
- Candidates must be able to perform heavy manual labor (push, pull and lift 45-60 lbs.), extensive walking, climbing and standing, and be medically qualified to wear a respirator. Required
- Candidate must successfully complete an Automotive Predictor Test. Required
Licenses and Certifications
- Driver's License Required
- Other: Must possess a valid Class D motor vehicle operators license. Required
