We are seeking a Data Warehouse Manager I to lead and support a team of developers, analysts, and support staff within a dynamic data environment. This role is responsible for team development, process oversight, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of data warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a collaborative mindset to help drive data initiatives forward.
Responsibilities * Supervise and mentor Data Warehouse team members through regular one-on-one meetings, feedback, and goal setting * Oversee onboarding and training processes for new team members * Manage department workflows, shared mailboxes, and task distribution * Ensure quality and consistency in data warehouse processes and reporting * Collaborate with business partners to transition and optimize data processes * Troubleshoot and resolve complex data-related issues * Design, develop, and document new processes to support evolving data needs * Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and regulatory representatives Required Skills & Experience * Bachelor's degree in a related field * 3+ years of experience in data warehouse environments * Proven management experience * Strong understanding of data warehouses, data marts, and reporting processes * Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) * Experience with data manipulation tools and cloud-based technologies (e.g., Azure DevOps, Data Studio) Preferred Knowledge * Principles of finance, business, statistics, and insurance * Software, database, or project management certifications * Experience with insurance products and rating schemes * Knowledge of enterprise data systems and cloud infrastructure Key Competencies * Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills * Excellent oral and written communication across all organizational levels * Customer service orientation and documentation accuracy * Analytical thinking and statistical analysis capabilities *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
