About This Role
The Department of Diagnostic Medicine/Pathobiology (https://www.vet.k-state.edu/academics/dmp/), College of Veterinary Medicine, Kansas State University is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE), collaborative Veterinary Experimental Pathologist to support CEEZAD (https://ceezad.org/) and CEZID (https://www.k-state.edu/cezid/) experimental work in high containment. This is a non-tenure track position. Requirements for the position include a DVM or equivalent degree and ideally ACVP board certification. Applicants with graduate training (MS or PhD degree) will be given preference. About Us Successful candidates would join a growing community of scientists in the region that are affiliated with KSU, or federal and regional centers including the National Bio and Agro-defense Facility (https://www.usda.gov/nbaf), the Arthropod-borne Animal Diseases Research Unit (https://www.ars.usda.gov/plains-area/mhk/cgahr/abadru), and the Biosecurity Research Institute (https://www.bri.k-state.edu/).
