*This role requires a technical **background** with Transportation Management Systems (TMS). This person will be driving the business from the IT team. * *The client is integrating TMS with WMS. * *Job Summary:* Candidates should possess functional and technical skills, as well as demonstrate leadership and change management for WMS/TMS implementation. Responsibilities include designing and executing Warehouse Management and Transportation Management Systems, as well as facilitating workshops to gather requirements and translate them into system specifications, while standardizing processes and incorporating best practices. Successful candidates will manage strategic challenges and ensure that supply chain technology aligns with organizational goals. Solution Design and Delivery *Design and implement innovative solutions for Transportation Management Systems (TMS) that meet business needs. *Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications. *Conduct system testing and troubleshooting and resolve any issues that arise. *Oversee and develop comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, technical designs, and user manuals. *Work on medium to large-scale IT projects, ensuring successful delivery using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. *Provide insights and recommendations for system enhancements and process improvements. *Complete assigned tasks, identify risks, and develop contingency plans. *Ensure compliance with corporate IT policies and governance frameworks. *Proactively seek feedback to identify unmet needs in the logistics and transportation market, incorporating insights into the strategy to achieve divisional objectives effectively. *Manage internal and *Qualifications & Experience* * Bachelor's degree required, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. * 8+ years of IT experience, with 4+ years focused on warehousing and transportation or related roles. * Strong technical expertise in ERP/WMS/TMS/Parcel (e.g., SAP, Manhattan, or other leading logistics software providers) * Experience designing and integrating IT solutions for WMS/TMS/Parcel * Proven track record in managing large IT programs and digital transformation initiatives. * Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP, Agile, Waterfall) * Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. * GxP validation preferred. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $90.00 - $100.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
