Overview

This position assists the Highgate Technology Ventures accounting team in producing timely, accurate, and complete financial statements. This position will be exposed to all aspects of accounting, including those noted in the job responsibilities below. This position is from our corporate office in Irving, TX.



Responsibilities

    Manage full cycle accounting, including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams and ensure accuracy in day-to-day operations.
  • Prepare and issue timely monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Assist with annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses as needed.
  • Drive process improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on accounting and reporting matters.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
  • Minimum 3 years of full cycle accounting experience.
  • Experience managing or overseeing AP and AR processes.
  • Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and proficiency in Word.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Oracle experience preferred.
