Position Summary |
This position provides key technical support for endpoint and lab computing environments across
EITS and cost recovery clients. It is responsible for managing Windows and Apple devices through Microsoft Intune and Jamf Pro, including the creation and deployment of computer images used across
EITS and the
MLC Tech Lending program. The role handles configuration management through group policy, Intune, and Jamf to ensure compliance with security standards and maintain consistent system behavior. The position also supports multiple computer labs across campus, manages Deep Freeze configurations, and contributes to a range of operational tasks that promote security compliance, system stability, and a reliable user experience.

Endpoint Administration and Support
- Administers Microsoft Intune and JAMF Pro environments, including device groups, licensing groups, RBAC groups, configurations, app deployments, Defender deployments, update rings, and patching.
- Supports Windows and Apple hardware/software for EITS staff and supported units.
- Creates and maintains GPOs and remote administration policies to manage client systems.
- Ensures compliance with UGA policies and information security standards.
- Addresses restricted and sensitive data concerns via SOC notices and DLP alerts.
- Provides requested reports to management and prepares monthly lab usage reports.
- Serves as Data Network Liaison (DNL) for EITS, Cost Recovery units, and Lab/Lending clients.
- Coordinates with networking teams for port activations, VLAN setup, and IP range management.

- Manages MLC Labs/Lending and Cost Recovery Lab/Classroom environments from equipment purchase through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Coordinates with Tech Lending staff on Tier 1 support for MLC Labs/Lending.
- Provides software packaging and deployment for lab and classroom environments.
- Supports instructors and staff with specialized software requests for classroom and lab devices.
- Oversees Adobe Creative Cloud administration, including package creation and account management.
- Conducts onboarding services for new employees to ensure proper equipment and access.
