Scientist VI This position requires an active USAccess clearance or the ability to obtain a USAccess clearance to be considered. The Scientist VI supports the Coastal Change Hazards Project by developing and implementing high-performance numerical models to simulate atmospheric, oceanographic, and sediment transport processes. The role involves advanced coding (primarily in FORTRAN and MATLAB), validating model output with field data, publishing peer-reviewed scientific papers, and supporting interdisciplinary research on coastal hazards, climate change, and marine geology. The position may also require participation in field studies, data management, and collaboration with federal and academic partners. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Scientist VI: $80,000-$86,000 Pay commensurate with experience.
