RN Supervisor - Outpatient Oncology

Full-Time Dayshift

Responsible and accountable for the daily operations of the nursing unit(s) / department(s) with 24-hour accountability.

• Responsibilities include management of fiscal and resource management, process improvement activities, staffing and scheduling, and assuring delivery of safe, effective, timely patient care in areas of responsibility.

• Monitors financial performance of department(s) and assures expenses and productivity align with workload and meets fiscal targets.

• Leads departmental activities and monitors care provided to comply with quality, finance and patient experience goals.

• Facilitate timely patient throughput to maximum utilization of resources.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.

• Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required.

• Three years of job-related experience required.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred upon hire and required within 90 days of hire.

• OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification is required.

• ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Certification is required and must be completed prior to the completion of orientation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A minimum of two years of oncology management experience at the charge nurse level or higher.
