POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Alutiiq Operations Services, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Infrastructure Superintendent supporting Tinker Air Force Base located in Oklahoma City, OK. The Infrastructure Superintendent manages a wide range of public works projects and ensures the safe and efficient operation of streets, water distribution, and sanitary sewer collection systems, stormwater systems, and other infrastructure assets. The Superintendent ensures compliance with all applicable safety rules, regulations, and procedures while supervising staff, coordinating daily operations, managing budgets, and maintaining high standards of service quality and safety.



  • Responsible for the care, custody, and protection of the real property facilities assigned and the real property installed equipment therein, and is responsible for meeting work requirements, including scheduling of personnel, work supervision, and quality control.
  • Maintains policies and procedures, reviews and evaluates current maintenance program performance.
  • Plans, directs, and coordinates personnel and activities concerned with operating, repairing, maintaining, and constructing facilities, equipment, buildings, and grounds to minimize interruption and improve efficiency. Services will include an airfield sweeper team.
  • Responsible for enforcing building cleanliness standards, conservation practices, and taking preventative/corrective measures to maintain a safe, clean, sanitary, healthy, presentable, professional atmosphere, free of dust, clutter, and trash in all working facilities and areas.
  • Inspects facilities for safety, security, and maintenance problems; makes recommendations on replacement versus repair, necessity of upgrading facilities, and cost of such equipment and supplies; identifies and eliminates safety hazards; assists with the regulation of medical waste and hazardous material disposal.
  • Maintains records of all work orders and inspections.
  • Participates in real property inventories and is responsible for properly utilizing and safeguarding all government and contractor property provided for contractor use (e.g., to include government facilities, equipment, and tools).
  • Responsible for enforcing and maintaining the safety program in compliance with OSHA.
  • Provides proactive space optimization and utilization management.
  • Responsible for maintaining a comprehensive, flexible, and properly documented training program.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least five (5) years of applicable Computerized Maintenance Management System (or CMMS) work Control Experience
  • At least five (5) years' experience in managing a workforce providing services on large-scale BOS contracts
  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in the electrical power generation field.
  • Five to seven years of responsible building and facilities maintenance contract experience.
  • Knowledge of HVAC and other building systems
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and do other labor-intensive tasks
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills


Preferred Qualifications and Experience:



  • Associate's Degree or technical training preferred
  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM) credential, or equivalent
  • Qualified as a Power Production journeyman or master technician with experience in the maintenance and operation of commercial-grade generators ranging in size from 5 to 4300 kilowatts desired
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
