As a Senior Director, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategy and execution of our Indirect Selling motion - a key driver of our go-to-market success. This includes building scalable solutions that empower our diverse ecosystem of partners, including Consulting Partners, Resellers, and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs). You'll be responsible for delivering product experiences that support partner co-selling, transactable marketplaces, and partner-led implementations, ensuring mutual growth and customer success. A deep understanding of the partner value chain and the ability to design applications for scale using AI, Agentic transformation, automation, and compliance will be central to your impact.

Role Overview

Senior Director of Partner Technologies is responsible for owning a suite of multiple products that contribute to a unified user experience within a value stream, business process, function, or set of technical capabilities. The PLM determines a unified product line vision and roadmap to drive product strategy across multiple products to meet Business Partner needs and solve business problems.
Product Line Managers do not make decisions alone or in a vacuum - they are accountable to closely align and take in direction from a variety of contributing groups including Engineering, Architects, Scrum Leads, Product Managers, Product Owners, Portfolio Managers, User Experience, and Business Leaders. As the common collection point for all of this data, they will have a broad and holistic view of the business and technology landscape. They rely on experts in each of these areas to provide guidance for product direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop an overall Product/Service strategic vision in partnership with Business Application Owners, BPG Leads, UX, Engineering, Architecture, and Leadership.

  • Disseminates strategic vision to all Product Managers within the Product Line to influence Product-Level Roadmap and prioritization.

  • Owns combined Product Line Roadmap comprised of key components of each individual product roadmap which ensures return on investment (ROI), consistent user experience, and measurable value delivery to Business Partners.

  • Assist with product solution vision, strategy, investment allocation and roadmap development for each Product Roadmap within the Product Line, and communicates prioritization of initiatives to Product Managers.

  • Champion AI maturity across teams. Be a thought leader in scaling autonomous agents and influencing broader product and platform direction.

  • Leads Pre and Post-Program Increment (PI) Planning for the portfolio and assist in adjusting PI plans as needed based on budget, capacity, scope, and prioritization.

  • Leads the implementation with Engineering, informing the solution design, technical debt, and other considerations.

  • Responsible for reviewing operational health, capacity, incidents, and general performance of existing products and services.

  • Collaborates and coordinates across Product Managers to maintain high standards of product/service performance, backlog health, roadmap planning, and Customer Engagement.

  • Reviews overall progress and delivery of solutions and communicates solution delivery targets, milestones and achievements to Stakeholders, Customers, Business Partners, and BPG Portfolio Manager.

  • Works with Portfolio Manager and Business Partner Groups on solution prioritization and resource allocation for cross-team initiatives.

  • Anticipates and plans future business capabilities according to market trends, user and customer feedback, architectural roadmaps, and product/service performance.

  • Manages allocation of capacity to different types of work (KLO, Project/Program, F&E, M&A) within the product line to maintain high user experience, product health, scalability, and delivery of committed initiatives).

  • Works with Engineering to prioritize incident resolution, tech debt, technology improvements, and innovation.

  • Works with Enterprise Architects to align business capability needs to technology roadmaps and market trends across product plaforms.

  • Establish and train MSP teams on standard operating procedures and best practices

  • Ensures engineering teams are following BT's DevSecOps and DORA standards

  • Manages staff and provides leaders coaching / guidance on the technical development of the team

Key Accountabilities

  • Accountable for owning and driving Business Intimacy between Business Technology and the Business Application Owner, which includes overall relationship health. The relationship must operate as a partnership based on trust and a shared mission to build and deliver value by aligning objectives, interests, and strategies between the two parties.Define Product Line Strategy, Roadmap, & Key Milestones.

  • Accountable for value of technology, products, and services delivered to Business Partners.

  • Accountable for talent staffing, resourcing, allocation, and organizational design

  • Coordinates Funding & management of products across value streams.

  • Prioritizes initiatives within the Product Line into a singular list.

  • Accountable for the holistic user experience of the Product Line.

  • Accountable for documentation and maintenance of the combined strategic Roadmap of the Product Line.

  • Accountable for the ROI of investment into the Product Line according to measurable delivery of business value.

  • Accountable for continual Product Line updates to all partners and stakeholders.

Experience / Skills Required:

  • 15+ years product management and/or product development experience

  • 6+ years team leadership or coaching experience

  • 6+ years experience with Salesforce products such as Sales Cloud, Salesforce Lightning, and ServiceCloud

  • 6+ years experience with enterprise Chatbot, AI, NLP technologies, conversational UI products and frameworks

  • Experience with understanding of Indirect Sales

  • Experience with Partner Relationship Management systems

  • Experience with leadership skill development and healthy teaming

  • Strong knowledge in information technology architecture components, principles, procedures and practices

  • Practical experience leading the development and maturation of DevSecOps and engineering quality practices and standards.

  • Practical experience with product management tools / practices such as jobs frameworks, product / business model canvas, empathy maps, opportunity trees, etc.

  • Practical experience with organizations operating with agility at scale

  • Experience with design thinking, design sprints, or experiment creation methods

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions evaluate outcomes and challenge conventional wisdom

  • Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to influence without formal authority and strong facilitation skills

  • Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams

  • Experience working with growing global teams
