Quality Engineer - Aerospace Manufacturing

Join a team that's building the future of flight! We're looking for aQuality Engineerto help us raise the bar in aerospace manufacturing. In this role, you'll take ownership of quality systems, collaborate across teams, and drive continuous improvement for complex aerostructures and sub-assemblies.

What You'll Do

  • Ensure compliance with customer, FAA, and third-party standards (AS9100, NADCAP).
  • Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Conduct internal audits and support external audits.
  • Manage records retention in line with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform supplier audits and help resolve quality and delivery issues.
  • Apply root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
  • Develop and maintain Program Quality Plans.
  • Partner with engineering, supply chain, and production teams.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) with proactive quality planning.
  • Contribute to Lean and Six Sigma improvement efforts.
  • Use structured quality planning tools like APQP to guide early-stage risk identification, process development, and validation.
  • Help ensure our manufacturing processes are consistent, compliant, and built for long-term success.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or 6+ years of quality experience in lieu of a degree.
  • At least 2 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong skills in root cause analysis and CAPA planning.
  • Experience with inspection tools and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Must meet ITAR/EAR requirements (U.S. Person).

What Helps You Stand Out

  • Experience with aerostructures (metallics and/or composites).
  • Familiarity with Lean tools (A3, PFMEA, Fishbone diagrams).
  • Experience with AS9145 or APQP processes.
  • Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or similar certification.
  • Self-starter with strong communication and collaboration skills.
