Manufacturing Engineer - Aerospace Composites Tallassee, AL\| Full-Time \| Advanced Manufacturing \| Competitive Compensation + Benefits \| Relocation Assistance Available We're looking for a Manufacturing Engineerto support both operational and development programs at ourTallassee, Alabamafacility. This role is key to delivering zero-defect projects through robust engineering, process innovation, and hands-on problem solving in a fast-paced aerospace composites environment. What You'll Do Develop technical solutions to complex manufacturing challenges. Provide technical support for production integration and vendor-related issues. Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to eliminate non-conformances. Design and implement tooling and production planning from concept through production using standard ME tools. Support product development, quoting, tooling, configuration changes, and first article development. Deliver measurable results aligned with program and value stream goals. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain strong working relationships. Drive continuous improvement through Lean initiatives and process optimization. Perform other duties as assigned. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering. U.S. Person status per ITAR regulations. What Helps You Stand Out Experience in aerostructures (metallics and/or composites). Strong continuous improvement mindset and results-driven approach. Ability to work independently across diverse manufacturing environments. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience mentoring or coaching team members. Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and sound judgment. Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing experience is a plus. Relocating? We Can Help.
