Junior Java Developer (Full Stack)

Location:

This role contributes to the development of Enterprise Content Management Platform and other digital experiences. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, collaborates well in a team environment, and is committed to delivering high-quality software solutions.

Essential Functions

• Assist in the development, implementation, assessment, and support of one or more environments, applications, or platforms.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code for assigned work.
• Resolve system and client experience issues across supported platforms.
• Participate in testing and evaluating new and emerging technologies.
• Follow recommended information security standards when developing code.
• Utilize technical documentation, specifications, and project artifacts during development.
• Embrace mentorship and training from senior engineers.
• Demonstrate active learning of industry trends in banking and technology.
• Follow established coding standards and best practices.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in computer/information science, Information Systems Management, or equivalent experience.

Work Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in software development or related project work.

Skills

• Passion for delivering quality software and learning new technologies.
• Experience building web applications using client-side UI frameworks like Angular.
• Experience developing microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch.
• Basic understanding of Agile methodology and object-oriented principles.
• Ability to convert business requirements into software features.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to ask for help when needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $61,000 to $94,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
