The University of Virginia's School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) seeks applicants primarily for tenure-ineligible part-time, limited term, adjunct Lecturer positions. Specifically, we seek Lecturers with notable experience related to teaching these two courses in the onlineLeadership Graduate Certificate Program(course descriptions available at the link). - PSLP 5340 Financial Management for Leaders - PSLP 5320 Organizational Leadership These courses are traditionally offered over 10 weeks in an online asynchronous format (supported by online discussion and assignments in UVA Canvas learning management system). Syllabi and course designs exist as starting templates. Courses may be offered in fall, spring, and summer academic semesters.(A new hire need not be available all semesters.) While the primary intent is to hire for the courses above, SCPS may consider qualified applicants for instruction in other SCPS degree, certificate, and noncredit programming.
