Position Summary: The Commercial Processor is a motivated, excellent communicator, who is detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the proven ability to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to process loans for multiple departments, including Commercial, Agricultural, Union Equipment Finance, Small Business, and Dealer Floor Plan. The Commercial Processor also works closely with other members of the Wholesale Loan Operations team in relation to a variety of loan transactions.

As part of our hybrid work from home opportunity guidelines, associates are expected to work 4 days onsite in Lincoln, NE with the opportunity of 1 day WFH each week.

Essential Functions:



  • Input new, renewed, and modified loans for the Wholesale Lending Division. This includes Commercial, Aircraft, Church, Attorney Prepared, Commercial Real Estate, Residential Real Estate and Construction, Business Purpose, Ag, and Dealer Floor Plan loans.
  • Process files after closing. Ensure liens and holds are properly placed including filing security documents with the Secretary of State and/or Register of Deeds via mail or online system.
  • Perform Wholesale Operations Pre-Closing due diligence items, including Reg B, Flood, and Patriot Act Disclosures
  • Service existing files including Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) continuations, Deed of Trust (DOT) continuations, insurance tracking, real estate tax tracking, and other documentation requirements.
  • Process all release requests for loans, collateral, guarantors, liens, etc.
  • Index scanned documents on computer software and update ticklers.
  • Perform back-up responsibilities for other loan operations staff as needed.
  • Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws, and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training: follow internal processes and controls as required.
  • Report on all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
  • Performs other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.


Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 2 years' banking experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of bank/government regulations and loan policy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and other bank/financial software.

Working Environment:



  • Indoor work - not exposed to outdoor elements or hazards.
  • Sedentary work, occasionally lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds.
