Senior Accountant

First Western is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team!

As a Senior Accountant at First Western, you will play a vital role in helping high-net-worth clients achieve their financial goals. You will work closely with our Finance and Accounting team to deliver comprehensive solutions that exceed client expectations.

What You Will Do:

• Ensure records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Responsible for the daily accounting, analysis and reconciliation process for assigned accounts.
• Coordinate with cross company departments to complete daily assignments.
• Treasury management (wire initiation) and dashboard reporting.
• Complete month-end close activities accurately and timely.
• Support the completion of monthly financial statements, including research and documentation of variances.
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly and year-end audit requests.
• Identify and communicate risks and opportunities to supervisors.

What You Bring:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically including intermediate Excel skills.
• Ability to conduct analysis of information and financials.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Understanding of corporate accounting and reconciliations.
• High initiative and integrity.
• Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong analytical, time management and prioritization skills.
• Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley 404 documentation and controls.
• Ability to work effectively with internal and external contacts.

Bachelor's Degree Accounting or related field OR equivalent work experience. Required

3-5 years Accounting experience. Accounting experience in a public financial services industry considered a plus. Required

Pay Range: $63,500 - $95,500/YR
