Position Summary Oversee and manage all operational functions and activities for the Office of the CFO. Provide leadership and direction for strategic planning initiatives, the office's budget and financial planning, project management, and program development. May represent the CFO at selected internal and external meetings with faculty, staff, students, alumni, senior university administrators, consultants, as well as government and community leaders. Manage and advise the CFO and office staff on day-to-day operations ensuring efficiency and effectiveness, and optimizing use of available resources. Monitor linkages with senior administrative officers to ensure responsiveness, as well as provide oversight for all ongoing projects supporting the team's agenda to ensure that all are effectively moving according to objectives and established milestones and measurement criteria. Develop, plan and administer special events that meet strategic goals; act as liaison between office and event constituents and vendors; develop and conceptualize themes, research requests, assess feasibility, and make recommendations to ensure the implementation of successful, targeted events; research vendors, options, pricing structures, etc.; ensure project expenses and quality of events are met; determine staffing, space, and equipment needs; and conduct post-event evaluations for the office, recommending future improvements. Support daily office operations and business activities for the office. Oversee the planning and implementation of special events and strategic pathways retreats, and activities and meetings of other high-level groups. Serve as primary point-of-contact for the team with internal and external constituents, resolve issues as appropriate, and provide strategic and tactical guidance and direction with respect to departmental activities. Qualifications Required Education: Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $110,000.00 to USD $130,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
