Performance Health is seeking a VP Supply Chain to join our team. The VP Supply Chain will transform the supply chain organization into a strategic, forward-looking group capable of driving enterprise-wide savings, reduction of DIOH and stockouts, delivery, quality, and consistent/efficient internal processes. The VP Supply Chain will be a trusted partner to the COO, stakeholders, and the executive team to drive initiatives that create value for Performance Health. Additionally, this person will strengthen understanding of all supply chain process optimization opportunities and collaborate with our Manufacturing, Distribution, Procurement, Commercial and Information Technology teams.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide thought leadership to the organization and executive level oversight to the purchasing and supply chain operations of Performance Health
  • Lead and develop high-priority strategic initiatives that align and support the business objectives and long-term financial and commercial plan
  • Lead the cross-functional hand-offs within Supply chain (S&OP, Demand and Supply Planning, Purchasing, inventory management) and an ability to present an end-to-end analytical view that considers appropriate business trade-offs in delivering an optimal customer and financial response.
  • Formalize and streamline the S&OP process (inputs, outputs, functional handoffs), which will drive and enable proper demand signals and ensure we have proper supply
  • Refine and enhance a repeatable purchasing process that can cascade and drive value throughout organization in partnering with key functional handoffs (Commercial, Distribution, Transportation)
  • Ensure consistent best in class Supply Chain metrics KPI's to lead Performance Health into the next chapter of good to great. Ensure measurement and monitoring of reducing working capital, stockouts, DIOH to position the company for Supply Chain success.
  • Measure and manage S&OP process to ensure tighter controls and discipline that drives forecast accuracy across all global business units
  • Oversight of Supply Chain operations includes responsibility for managing and implementing industry standard techniques for inventory control management which includes receipt, storage, distribution and return of stock and non-stock items and drop-ship; in partnership with Distribution leadership
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, other executives, to secure organizational commitment for defined strategies and to optimize and reduce DIOH
  • Work closely with Finance, Information Technology, Procurement, Manufacturing and Commercial to develop and execute well-defined business strategies in order to optimize our ability to manage inventory, optimize S&OP, reduce stockouts and service the customer.
  • Develop and mentor team through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; builds and maintains employee morale and motivation; ensures the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies; fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • Partners with Human Resources to evaluate and recruit talent into the organization
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field
  • 16-18 years of experience in supply chain supporting manufacturing, distribution, procurement, commercial, and IT
  • Demonstrated success in leadership roles and consistent achievement record
  • Ability to manage a budget and execute operations plans to meet expense goals
  • Ability to travel 10-25% of the time, including overnight travel
