Corporate Accounts Medical Partnership Manager

The Corporate Account Medical Partnership (CAMP) Manager is responsible for cultivating, maintaining, and acting as the primary relationship manager for medical leaders within Corporate Account groups. They understand Corporate Account medical organization structures and establish trust with account medical leadership to shape medical strategy and influence medical decision making.

The CAMP manager brings their expertise to provide medical guidance, support corporate account team commercial activities and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders as they develop and execute medical initiatives to drive mutually beneficial growth. This position reports to the Head of Corporate Account Medical Partnerships.

What you will do:

  • Corporate Accounts Advocacy: Collaborates in IDEXX medical and marketing planning to support Corporate Accounts for major campaigns, product launches and account-based plans. Ensures medical content meets Chief Medical Officer/Medical Influencer requirements and is aligned to IDEXX medical messaging. Develops medical strategy and plans with Global Medical Organization teams linked to the Account/Marketing Plan to support Key Accounts, tied to global medical and marketing priority initiatives.
  • Commercial and Marketing Collaboration: Supports IDEXX corporate account and corporate account marketing teams as general medical resource, central point of technical/medical liaison to the medical organization, and for medical support/messaging, education, clinical/data studies, customer visits, and other needs. Collaborates with Global Medical Organization and Professional Services Veterinary teams to support education and opportunities within Corporate Account groups and their hospitals. Partners in development and execution of tailored account marketing programs with corporate account marketing teams and marketing Centers of Excellence (COEs) by providing medical guidance.
  • Relationship Building: Identifies opportunities, establishes new medical relationships, maintains existing relationships, and builds trust with the Chief Medical Officer/Medical Influencers, Regional Medical Boards and other key medical personnel in strategic and priority accounts. Cultivates relationships with thought and key opinion leaders within Corporate Accounts to create internal advocacy. Develops strategies to create deep customer-centric engagement.
  • Driving Medical Partnership: Leads corporate account medical partnerships in strategic and priority accounts. Identifies new opportunities to shape joint medical strategies between account medical leadership and IDEXX, enabling medical advancement and business growth.
  • Providing Medical Expertise: Alongside and in parallel to Chief Medical Officer and/or Head of CAMP, represents the Global Medical Organization in Corporate Account Meetings and Events. Proactively supports our current and future in-clinic diagnostic instruments and products, reference laboratory offerings, and the IDEXX Diagnostic Advantage by presenting medical subjects. Delivers or facilitates delivery of medically in-depth seminars on IDEXX products and services at corporate group education events.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) or equivalent is required.
  • 5-7+ years of clinical, and/or veterinary industry experience in sales, marketing, or technical services functions
  • Veterinary licensure or ability to obtain licensure required.
  • Broad clinical, diagnostic and practice operations knowledge and strong veterinary business acumen
  • Maintains familiarity with current topics and issues in clinical veterinary medicine, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements and trends in the field.
  • Demonstrates strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively engage with various audiences, including Corporate Account executive, management and hospital customers, clinical specialists, internal/external Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and IDEXX leadership at all levels.
  • Ability to translate medical innovation and key product differentiation to value for customers through strong medical messaging and connection of company products to customer opportunities based on economic value.
  • Excellent business relationship-building and problem-solving skills with ability to navigate conflicting needs to mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Possesses a strong commercial mindset and understanding of Corporate Account customer needs and priorities.
  • Displays a service-oriented attitude that prioritizes meeting the needs of others, whether it be colleagues, customers, or stakeholders, and providing exemplary service in all interactions.
  • Exemplifies excellent organizational and prioritization skills, upholding professional integrity, and demonstrating a solid work ethic in all responsibilities and tasks undertaken.
  • Exhibiting a high level of self-motivation and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, taking initiative to accomplish goals and deliver results.
  • Proven ability to work in a collaborative manner and in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Possessing computer skills or the willingness and eagerness to learn the necessary technical competencies.
