Job Title: Payment Dispute ManagerLocation: OH - ColumbusWhat you'll do: As a Banking Operations Manager, you will oversee the bank's compliance with Regulation E, which governs electronic fund transfers (EFTs) and remittance transfers. This role involves managing a team, developing compliance strategies, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in regulatory compliance and a strong leadership background.The position is also responsible for continuous process improvement providing insight and ideas to ensure the operations can continue to scale with the needs of the bank. Participates and at times leads the planning/implementation of application updates/enhancements and documenting vendor performance as well as leads/participates in new systems assessment and product development. Ensures appropriate BCP and DR plans are documented and tested routinely and staff is trained. Proactive in identifying the talent needs and scaling the operations to meet business needs to include effective role/responsibility identification, aiding to evolve the operational processes and technologies to meet growing business needs. Thoughtful and effective communicator that is able to influence direction and help the organization adapt to change. Provides supervision to and directs the activities of their employees; performs supervisory tasks such as performance appraisals, monthly one on one sessions, disciplinary actions, and interviewing candidates for employment; develops work schedules; provides necessary training and coaching. Provide support to all members of the wire room, actively holding the team accountable and capable. Conduct professional development coaching; promote cross training, provide training on all department functions, coach and provide feedback regarding monthly performance by creating individual development plans. Hold timely crucial conversations to allow for team members to make immediate improvement and properly documenting all conversations.
