Job Description:

This individual will be primarily responsible for supporting and leading architects and designers through the delivery of accurate design documents, regulatory approval, and other technical documentation needed to complete projects while working with Architects and Designers through the process of designing complex construction projects, focusing on the technical execution.

Some things you can expect to do:

  • Works in tandem with Client, Architects, Design Project Managers, Designers, Development, Construction and consultants to develop documentation for coordination and construction.

  • Independently solves problems and applies basic principles of design.

  • Develops technical standards and techniques.

  • Performs tasks with a high level of collaboration and sets an example for others to follow.

  • Establishes and pursues annual goals based on personal, professional and company growth in the industry.

  • Ensures project goals of design excellence, execution and sustainability.

  • Direct, supervise and mentor junior staff.

  • Supports and leads team of Architects and Designers through the design process of small to mid-sized projects.

  • Supports and leads technical execution of complete and thorough set of design documents to meet project goals, milestones and schedules.

  • Leads detailing efforts for a complete set of construction documents and construction phase to ensure a high level of technical accuracy.

  • Leads design meetings, consultant meetings and project team meetings.

  • Coordinates project design schedules.

  • Resolves unusual or complex technical issues.

  • Research and lead code reviews and regulatory approval process.

  • Manages and coordinates Ryan's QA/QC process and project specifications.

  • Identifies and communicates deviations in project scope.

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Specialized knowledge of Revit, BIM tools, building codes, documentation, and constructability.

  • A professional architecture degree is required.

You will really stand out if you have:

  • At least 8 years of experience

  • Bluebeam knowledge

  • LEED AP and/or WELL AP certification

Compensation:

The base pay range is $76,200-$114,400/Annually. The salary may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
