Hartgrove Behavioral Health System consists of a 160-bed leading psychiatric hospital dedicated to providing quality behavioral health services for a diverse population of all ages. Hartgrove is a flagship behavioral health facility within Universal Health Services, Inc. and throughout Illinois. Hartgrove is a state-of-the-art facility offering some of the most advanced technologies and programs found in the behavioral health field. JOB SUMMARY: The Manager of Human Resources has 24 hour a day seven day a week responsibility for the Human Resources Department. This individual serves as a key member of hospital leadership. The Manager of Human Resources ensures the department is in compliance with Federal and State regulations as well as accrediting and regulatory agencies. Duties include:

  • Employee relations
  • New Hire Orientation & onboarding
  • Maintaining Compliance and Regulatory requirements (I9/E-Verify, Files and healthcare requirements)
  • File Management & employee status changes
  • Policy enforcement

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors Degree in HR, Organizational Leadership, Business or related field required. Master in Human Resources, OLS, or related field preferred.

Experience: 5+ years of HR Experience preferred; 2+ years in human resource administration required.

Licensure/Certification: None required; PHR or SPHR preferred.

Knowledge: Must possess knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines concerning human resource administration in a health care setting.
