The Job A Supervisor, Facilities is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of a facility, ensuring that all building systems are functioning properly and efficiently. They manage a team of maintenance staff, coordinate repairs and maintenance projects, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Additionally, they may be involved in budgeting, scheduling, and procurement of supplies and services for the facility. In the supervisor capacity you will support the Facilities Manager with onsite reporting for facilities ticketing work, department and staff performance, company and department policies, safety, security and assist in providing world class customer service. Reports to the Facilities Manager. You Will Leads Facilities team at the My Place South LA (SLA) PACE center. Leads onsite ticketing, service, maintenance and repair efforts. Reports team and individual performance, supports customer service efforts, policies, safety and security. Serves as an onsite point of contact for vendors and contractors, coordinating their work and ensuring adherence to scope and timelines. Communicates effectively with clinical and operational staff to minimize disruptions during maintenance activities and foster a positive service experience. Monitors work ticket trends and recurring issues to help identify systemic problems and inform continuous improvement opportunities. Assist with monitoring Service Level Agreements (SLA's) monthly to identify potential challenges and plan corrective actions accordingly. Patrol grounds, common areas, and parking facilities. Identifies and reports maintenance hazards or other property condition concerns and addresses them appropriately. Provides maintenance support for new care centers as they open. Maintain grounds of facility or property performing such tasks as raking, sweeping, leaf blowing, and pressure washing. Responds quickly to emergencies, summoning additional assistance as needed. Implement maintenance procedures and protocols as directed to ensure the proper functioning of all building systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security systems. Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to identify any maintenance or repair needs, communicate with the Facility Operations team to address issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment maintenance logs, and inventory of supplies and materials. Collaborate with facilities leadership to identify and proactively address any facility-related needs or concerns. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all Team Members, participants, and visitors. Provide support for special events or projects as required. Perform other facilities-related duties as assigned. Enter updates and complete work in the maintenance ticketing system and ensure requests are addressed and handled promptly. Demonstrate excellence in delivering repair and maintenance work. Your Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent experience Minimum 2 years of related experience in a supervisory role and/or training in use of appropriate facility maintenance equipment and techniques, including use of light duty power tools, including, but not limited to drills, table saw, leaf blowers, and pressure washers. Experience in handling hazardous materials/situations Valid California Driver's License. Technical expertise - Basic technical skills for functional area Problem Solving - Basic problem-solving skills Communication - Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to successfully complete a post-offer employment physical validating you can meet the physical requirements outlined within this job description. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs or at least 50 pounds. Ability to reach above the shoulder level to work. Ability to bend, squat, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, sit, stand, and twist. Ability to climb ladders. Ability to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Ability to stand, walk, or move for long periods of time.
