Job Details To act as Manager of Chaplaincy Services for TJUH, Inc., supervising Staff Chaplainsand managing the chaplaincy program with regard to all matters. Provides or coordinates training and support, for all direct reports. Provides or coordinates orientation and training for network staff regarding the importance and use of Chaplains. Responds to emergent situations requiring Chaplaincy support. Assists the Vice President for Patient Experience in the strategic development of the program. Functions as CPE Supervisor for the residency: recruits, screens, interviews, selects, orients, teaches supervises and evaluates CPE Residents. Conducts some of the didactics and verbatim sessions for CPE Residents. Responsible for administrative functions related to the CPE program, assigning some to CPE Supervisor as appropriate. Maintains the standards of the Association of Clinical Pastoral Education, Inc. (ACPE), which "is a multicultural, multifaith organization devoted to improving the quality of ministry and pastoral care offered by spiritual caregivers of all faiths through the educational method of CPE."
