From your PASSION to ours

Operator IV - Intake will focus on weighing, testing, and pumping incoming milk from tanker trucks. You will take samples, read, and record the volume of milk received.

From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:

* Weighs loaded truck on platform scale and records weight on record sheet.

* Takes antibiotic samples for every truck to ensure compliance with Sorrento regulations.

* Stops pump when transfer is completed, reads milk flow meter, and records volume pumped on record sheet

* Maintain clean and organized work area.

* Interact with associates to maintain efficient process flow.

* Maintain open line of communication with all line workers and supervisor.

* Perform sanitation duties as assigned.

* Report problems and/or concerns to the on-duty supervisor.

* Attend departmental meetings and training as assigned by the supervisor and/or manager.

Perform other work duties as assigned

Education

* High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) is preferred.

Experience

* Previous employment in a food industry setting is preferred.

. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat and cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
