Overview:

The successful candidate will join the North America Strategic Transformation Advisory team; an exceptional, high-performing team where they will lead the end-to-end implementation of large footprint Blue Yonder solutions including supporting process and solution blueprint discussions and overall target architecture of the Blue Yonder solution. This can also involve partnering with all key stakeholders to drive the implementation of multiple releases within the program and be the single point of contact for all customer stakeholders on the overall solution footprint.

Scope:

This role will enhance, support and promote Blue Yonder's leadership position regarding process and solutions within the Retail sector. This role requires a strong functional foundation in retail planning processes and supply chain solutions, with the ability to be hands-on using implementation experience and practical knowledge of architecting solutions for prominent high-tier customers. You will bring value to BY's customers by ensuring alignment between the customer's processes, people and BY solutions.

What you'll do:

  • Core responsibilities include designing, implementing, and advising for clients across an end-to-end supply chain scope, focusing on Retail but also on Manufacturing and other industries as needed.
  • Designing, developing and maintaining Blue Yonder Blueprint collateral and collaborating with team members on Blue Yonder Blueprint business process and organizational design collateral.
  • Playing a pivotal role as an anchor for the rest of the consulting resources on a customer engagement
  • Lead key design discussions and architecture discussions for large-scale retail transformations.
  • Run End-to-End design authorities to ensure compliance and mitigate risk through the project.
  • Conduct/lead business process analysis or design/construction phase of the project.
  • Create templates and artifacts towards reusability and automation decreasing implementation lifecycle, reducing errors post-go-live and efficient support operations.
  • Support development of detailed business process blueprints for a given Domain and sub-vertical by working in collaboration with other team members.
  • Create and modify procedural and system documentation throughout the project. Creates detailed tasks on the overall project plan (i.e. during sales cycle, after the project plan is complete, or based on enhancements).
  • Ensure knowledge transfer is conducted with key customer project team. Is a thought leader in the relevant Industry and Solution areas and can apply that knowledge to customer situations.
  • Communicate and/or support the business cases to PMG and PD regarding specific trends for future product functionality and enhancements.
  • Develop functional specifications for modifications, interfaces, reports and screens that meet the customers' business objectives and are of sound design.
  • Provide advice to customers regarding industry best practices and process methodology. Provides support during the "go-live" period and knowledge transition during project roll-off.
  • Liaise between various stakeholders on a project including BY Consultants, Customer / partner consultants, Business users, IT, PMO, Change Team, Cloud and Product Teams to ensure the intended business objectives and value can be realized.
  • Has full command and accountability for the E2E Solution & Application architecture on a project, to enable the intended business value. Maintain a detailed knowledge of the technical integration architecture in the landscape and an ability to support technical design discussions along with Blue Yonder Technical Architects.
  • Perform new product solution validation and end-to-end data flow, solution, interface, workflow & reports and performance testing. Raise Jira & case tickets & provide feedback to PD/PMG on defects & enhancements.
  • Serve as a functional liaison and attends and contributes to key meetings between Project Manager, key customer contacts, and customer users, up to and including key executive project sponsors.
  • Understand how the BY solutions within area of focus can be configured and delivered to better facilitate customer business processes (ensuring ability to design, execute, and deliver).

What we are looking for:

  • 15+ years of hands-on experience as an architect, defining and configuring supply chain solutions, either as a customer of Blue Yonder/JDA or other similar solutions, or as a consultant implementing Blue Yonder/JDA or other similar solutions .
  • Has demonstrable experience with Blue Yonder Solutions or similar supply chain / ERP solutions. Has detailed knowledge and command over the full landscape of the E2E Blue Yonder solutions and sufficient detailed knowledge about external (customer) systems in a typical E2E landscape.
  • Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics or Operations Research preferred. A combination of Bachelor 's degree and relevant industry experience will also be considered.
  • An understanding of how Blue Yonder/JDA solutions can be configured to better facilitate client business processes is required.
  • Supply Chain Management concepts, awareness of tactical and operational planning on overall supply chain required.
  • Ability to drive discussions on both functional processes and technical concepts in a language that can be understood across a diverse audience and multiple levels within customer's/Blue Yonder organization.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with diverse stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, and at senior levels of an organization (C-suite) and work collaboratively with them
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, effectively and proactively.
  • Passionate about working with new technologies and products and have demonstrated the ability to learn quickly, have good interpersonal & communication skills - verbal & written.
  • Ready to travel to customer sites based on business needs, and flexible to work with overlapping time zones.
  • Ability to train and mentor architects
  • Knowledge / exposure to microservices / MACH architecture is desirable
  • In-depth Domain knowledge and practical business process development experience within Retail is preferred and across several Verticals/Industry is desirable.
  • Working experience of AI/ ML algorithms is desirable
  • Working experience of R, python packages is desirable
  • Understanding database, Snowflake, Azure, SaaS technical platform, DevOps operations is desirable
  • Relevant industry certification from APICS and TOGAF will be a plus.

The salary range for this position is $130,023.00 to $163,997.00 USD

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
