The 300 Area End States Project (300 AES) oversees safe and compliant operation of the 324 Hazard Category II Nuclear Facility. This significant responsibility includes the retrieval, characterization, and packaging of legacy facility materials and equipment for on-site disposition, stepping out of Authorization Basis documents, shutting down facility systems, and preparing the facility for demolition and ultimately performing demolition of the 324 Facility and remediation of the remaining 300 Area waste sites.
Our team is seeking a talented and dynamic Buyers Technical Representative (BTR) who has the ability to support our mission. The selected candidate will be a critical member of the 300-296 Remote Soil Excavation Project team in the performance of the following duties: * Provide interface between subcontractors, engineering, construction management, technical and subject matter experts, field supervision, and sometimes other Hanford contractors in the resolution of technical issues and to maintain contractual obligations with the contract specialist. * Develop Statements of Work (SOW), Requests for Proposals (RFP) and supporting documents to ensure a comprehensive and complete bid package is prepared. * Manage and coordinate subcontract mobilization and submittals. * Perform subcontract management and program administration in support of the Project Team. * Investigates and resolves varied and complex disputes, concerns, and issues that may arise between buyers, subcontractors, and the Project Team. * Performs invoice reviews to assure pay requests are in accordance with technical and contract requirements. Ensure technical reviews are complete and sufficient backup documentation is attached to support payment of invoices from subcontractors. * Process subcontracts monthly invoices and change orders ensuring costs are allocated to correct charge codes. * Attend and contribute to project status meetings regarding subcontract performance. * Assist Project manager in Project closeout activities.
Basic Qualifications
* Grade 18 - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 8 or more years of relevant experience.
* Grade 19 - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 9 or more years of relevant experience.
The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications
* Experience in a BTR/Subcontract Management Role.
* Experience in Project/Construction Management.
* Experience in administering subcontracts.
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.
Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):
* Grade 18: $92,700 - $148,550.
* Grade 19: $101,950 - $163,050.
In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
