City/State: Bronx, New YorkGrant Funded: NoDepartment: Urology - AdministrationWork Shift: DayWork Days: MON-FRIScheduled Hours: 8:30 AM-5 PMScheduled Daily Hours: 7.5 HOURSPay Range: $88,000.00-$110,000.00 Under the guidance of the Director of Clinical & Business Affairs, the Assistant Director of Operations and Program Development is responsible for the carrying out the mission and vision of patient throughput throughout the Department of Urology. This includes assessing, refining, implementing and overseeing workflows which involve other departments such as the Patient Access Center, Professional Services, Hutch Tower II, the Operating Rooms, Inpatient Units, Emergency Departments, Epic/MIT and more. In addition, the Assistant Director oversees the practice manager(s) of Urology off-site locations including MAP, Clinica Milenia, Wakefield, MMG locations and any future locations that the Department of Urology acquires. Major workflows include that of access and revenue cycle optimization, requiring experience and knowledge in front end operations, billing and data collection/ analysis.Requirements Bachelor's Degree required, Master's degree preferred Ten years of work experience with at least five years experience in supervisory capacity in a related field Working knowledge of modern direct patient care workflow, staffing models, access, patient experience and revenue cycle optimization with a focus on efficiency, provider & staff satisfaction, strategy and teamwork. Proficient in in Epic and all Microsoft programs including Excel, PPT, Word and Visio Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
