DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY

To provide a safe and secure workplace for employees, vendors and visitors while protecting company assets



RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

*Enforce security regulations and restrictions relative to company operation

*Perform visible hourly rounds of the facility to ensure the physical safety of employees and that entranceways are secure

*Monitor incoming and outbound vehicles, personnel and visitors

*Assist visitors in a courteous manner while following all established company visitation policies and procedures

*Respond to all emergencies and take appropriate action until emergency services arrive

*Create daily patrol log and log all incidents and activity

*Follow standard outbound shipping and evening facility lock down procedures as established by company under "CTPAT Duryea Security Details and Lock Down Procedures (A-SECUR0023)"

*Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management

*Complete the annual CTPAT Security Training

*Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment

*Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations

*Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary



REQUIRED SKILLS

*Must be a friendly team player, professional, detail-oriented, and honest

Must have the ability to:

*Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment

*Read, analyze and interpret general business policies, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations

*Write reports, business correspondence and procedures including detailed incident reports

*Effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, vendors, customers and the general public

*Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

*Stand and walk for extended periods of time

*Lift/push/pull 40 lbs.

Must have:

*Valid Pennsylvania license to carry a firearm and be responsible for own service weapon

*A tactical uniform; However, company will provide logo shirts

*Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement

*Excellent verbal and written communication skills

*Basic math skills

*Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel



REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

*At least 20 years of law enforcement experience



PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

*Retired state police or other state law enforcement officer experience preferred



REQUIRED EDUCATION

*High School Diploma or GED

*Lethal Weapons Training Act 235 (Firearms) Certification

*CPR certification or ability to obtain CPR certification



REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

*Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now, or in the future
