Molex is seeking a Sr. Manager, Financial Systems to join our team. This role reports directly to our Financial Systems Leader, as part of the finance organization, and will serve as the primary interface between Finance and IT functions through effective communication, understanding priorities, collecting feedback and anticipating demand for IT services. This person will also being responsible for the successful implementation of finance related system solutions and leading our finance transformation efforts. This high performing leader will partner with the various capabilities within Molex to build process and technology capabilities that support their growth and strategic agenda. The successful candidate will need to be a skilled relationship builder with the ability to work in a fast paced and ever-changing environment and be able to guide the organization in the proper way to leverage new systems and understand how new technology developments impact the company.
A successful candidate must have the following characteristics:
- Extensive background in project management to include serving in a PM capacity for a large scale, complex financial system implementation
- Extensive background in project management methodology and tools
- Has participated as PM in a multi-company, multi-country SAP S4 Hana project implementation
- Has participated as PM in a multi-company, multi-country SAP Central Finance (CFIN) implementation
- Has participated in large-scale financial systems consolidation projects
- Ability to plan action items to complete a project and drive completion of activities and work streams
- Deep functional and technical knowledge of SAP ECC and Central Finance (CFIN) for S4 Hana
- Deep functional and technical knowledge of JIRA
- In-Depth knowledge and understanding of historical data migration and defect resolution processes
- Has participated in data modeling activities associated with reporting transformation initiatives
- Extensive knowledge of US GAAP and Statutory reporting requirements
- Technical and functional knowledge of SAP Financial Statement Versions (FSV) to include designing, building, setting up necessary mappings, ongoing maintenance and successful roll out and adoption
- Experience with process mapping and the ability to identify process gaps and design and document future state processes related to transformation projects
- Vast knowledge of financial systems to include (but not limited to) SAP ECC, SAP S4 Hana, SAP Solutions Manager, SQL Server, SAP Ariba, MS Access, Alteryx and OneStream
- Ability to prioritize and balance competing high priority demands
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrates flexibility regarding change of assignments, focus, priorities, and needs
- Strong business acumen and judgment and the ability to think strategically about business information issues
- Ability to work effectively in a team oriented, fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication, research, analytic, workload prioritization/project management, documentation, and grammatical skills

What You Will Do
- Responsible for the successful project management of financial system transformation efforts
- Successful delivery of projects delivering business processes supported by technology in the areas including, but not limited to: Financial Accounting, Financial Analytics, Project Systems, Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Product Costing, Financial Planning, Consolidations, Treasury, Tax, and Reporting
- Lead and support project initiatives
- Drive the gap resolution process in close cooperation with Global Functional Leads and Business Leaders
- Support change management activities for projects (Change Impact Assessment, Communications, Training)
- Direct and control project budgeting, and reporting while liaising with the PMO team
- Drive implementation of a strong control environment and robust processes
- Support user role mapping and segregation of duties
- Support business readiness (people, data, processes, procedures, technology)
- Drive creation and execution of the cutover plan
- Drive stabilization and handover to the Supply Chain, Shared Services, and Support Organization
- Drive knowledge transfer to the ongoing support area
- Understand, support, and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business-related field
- Experience with Finance functions, accounting concepts, financial consolidations, or internal controls
- Experience leading/supervising a cross-functional team
- Experience leading small or medium scale Finance systems projects (ex: single module project)
- Experience with SAP or other ERP system
- This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship
What Will Put You Ahead
- MBA or Master's degree in Accounting, Information Technology or related field
- Currently active Certified Public Accounting (CPA) designation
- In-Depth knowledge of Molex financial systems, processes and culture
- Knowledge, understanding and adoption of a PBM mindset and culture
For this role, we anticipate paying $140,000-$170,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form. At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
