Job Title: Director Graduate Admissions Department: Admissions College/Division: General University Primary Job Posting Location: Atlanta, GA 30341 Additional Job Posting Locations: (Other locations that this position could be based) Job Details: Mercer University seeks a dedicated and innovative admissions professional to serve as its next Director of Graduate Admissions to advance the College of Education's enrollment strategy and growth. Responsibilities: The incumbent leader is responsible for all phases of recruitment, admissions, and student success for graduate programs offered by Tift College of Education. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, supervision of recruitment and enrollment team members, recruitment travel, inquiry development, application completion and review, student interviewing, professional presentations, and correspondence. Working with a great degree of independence, the incumbent reports regularly to the AVP of enrollment management, but will work cooperatively with the Dean of the College, all academic Program Directors and Program Coordinators, as well as staff members engaged in marketing and communication, data operations, admissions, alumni and development, and career development functions. The incumbent will supervise the development of education partnership agreements, and articulation agreements to the benefit of all teacher education programs. The Director provides operational leadership in College of Education initiatives related to student enrollment, including Admissions and Recruitment leading to student enrollment. This director-level position reports directly to the Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management. The Director of Graduate Admission is expected to:
Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in higher education administration or admissions leadership are required. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by the university's carrier. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
