DEPARTMENT: Social Services UNIT: Tacoma Citadel Corps POSITION TITLE: Hope Market Assistant SCHEDULE: Monday to Thursday, 8am to 2:30pm (half hour off clock lunch break) REPORTS TO: Hope Market Manager STATUS: Part-Time, Non-Exempt RATE: $18.00 per hour GENERAL STATEMENT: The Salvation Army is a branch of the Christian Church and the ultimate goal of all programs is spiritual regeneration of all people. The Salvation Army is an equal opportunity employer. SCOPE OF POSITION: The Hope Market Food Pantry/Warehouse Assistant works in the Tacoma Client Choice Hope Market Food Pantry and Warehouse. The HMA/WA keeps a consistent flow of goods through the Food Pantry to assure that clients with dignity.
