Provide accurate and data-based information on company's effectiveness and stability. They will assist with researching and analyzing financial information to help the company make well informed decisions, write reports and monitor financial movements. SKILLS

KEY DUTIES

  • Partner closely with cost center owners to analyze their monthly results and build their ongoing forecasts as well as their annual budgets.
  • Assist in the consolidation and analysis of financial data (budgets, income statement, forecasts etc.) taking into account financial standing.
  • Assist in providing alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
  • Support the annual budgeting process.
  • Analyze project performance against financial expectations each month.
  • Assemble and summarize data to structure reports on financial status.
  • Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis with help of more senior members of team.
  • Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance.
  • Partner with management to understand financial reporting needs.
  • Identify trends based on sound analysis; make recommendations to more senior members of team for review.
  • Develop reports and analyze non-financial data. Incorporate financial data into this analysis when appropriate.
  • Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with budgets and prior periods.
  • Reconcile transactions by comparing and recommending corrections to data to more senior members of team.
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with no years experience, or, another bachelor's degree andthree years of experience in accounting or finance with a focus on analysis.
  • Requires ability to work with large sets of data and reporting tools.
  • Requires knowledge of Microsoft Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Requires effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Requires strong analytical skills and some understanding of accounting principles.
  • Requires organizational skills and must have the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects.
  • Must be able to maintain confidential information.

Work-at-home requirements

  • Must have the ability to provide a non-cellular High Speed Internet Service such as Fiber, DSL, or cable Modems for a home office.
  • A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 30x5 (30mpbs download x 5mpbs upload) is required.
  • Latency (ping) response time lower than 80 ms
  • Hotspots, satellite and wireless internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
  • A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. GEHA considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.

The annual base salary range for this position is $57,512 - $81,072 USD.
