As a Senior Financial Analyst at UBB, your attention to detail and passion for financial analysis and valuation will assist you in utilizing your skills to research economic and industry data, write reports for clients, and interact with senior management. Your advanced Excel spreadsheet modeling and ability to present financial data clearly and concisely will provide client institutions with valuable insights for strategic decision-making.

Position is on-site at our Bloomington office. Work-from-home opportunities may be available on a rotating basis after an initial training period.

Essential Responsibilities



  • Researches, compiles and analyzes information for draft versions of stock valuations including: historical financial data, local competition, community information and valuation analysis and calculations. Conducts or participants in client interviews.
  • Analyzes data and writes draft market study reports including conclusions and summary.
  • Researches and compiles demographic data from internet.
  • Maintains database of regional bank transactions and publicly traded bank data, which is used in valuations and BankValue promotional material.
  • Researches and prepares drafts of quarterly updates of regional and national economic conditions.
  • Researches and prepares drafts of quarterly updates of the condition of the banking industry.
  • Provides direction to junior analysts.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities


  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of financial analysis and business valuation experience
  • Appropriate and job-related certifications or designation (CFA, ASA, CVA, NACVA, etc.)
  • Communicate in a clear, concise, and professional manner (oral & written)
  • High attention to detail - accuracy is a must
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a small team
  • Ability to travel locally once per month or more

Pay Range


  • $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 Salary; depending on education, qualifications, experience
  • Annual bonus target: 7% of annual pay dependent on company and personal performance
