DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Food Service Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper preparation, service, and sanitation of food at the center. Your duties include following center and departmental policies to maintain compliance with health and sanitation regulations, as well as cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and work surfaces. You will also be responsible for portioning and serving food, transporting trays and carts, and using various kitchen equipment. Your hard work and dedication as a Food Service Worker are essential for ensuring efficient and effective tray line operations.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
- Work hours are 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, rotating days off, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS Additional Requirement:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualification (not required):
- Previous experience in food production or food service, preferably in an institutional setting such as a hospital or nursing home
Legal Requirements:
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
