About the Role Impact you will make The ideal candidate will have a natural curiosity about solving problems - familiar with the complexity of healthcare datasets. They will be a critical thinker with advanced problem solving, data mining, and data engineering skills that enables them to answer ambiguous questions in data that help leaders make great data driven decisions. The successful candidate will work with highly collaborative teams and have direct influence over data engineering roadmaps What you will do Have insight into overall enterprise data ecosystem and ensures that it meets the requirements for data needs across the business Design and develop complex and large-scale data structures and pipelines to organize, collect and standardize data to generate insights, address reporting and application needs Ensure that data pipelines are observable, scalable, reliable, and secure; improve data quality and integrity Champion and participate in developing technical / business approaches and new or enhanced technical tools; recommend the right tool and technology to deliver solutions objectively Evaluate and lead implementation of modern processes and technologies for continuous improvement in software development lifecycle (SDLC); drive down technical debt Champion and drive adoption and standardization of data governance, lineage, cataloging, and stewardship practices across teams Provide thought leadership to embrace modern data analytics as a critical enabler for actionable business decisions What you will bring Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or Applied Science 10+ years' experience in Data Engineering and/or Software Engineering Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Databricks etc. Strong coding skills using various Microsoft and web development technologies including but not limited to: ASP.Net, C#, MVC, Web Forms, Web Services, SQL Server, T-SQL, HTML5, jQuery, Ajax, Angular, Kendo and Microservices. Expertise in various other .Net development tools and products along with development in SQL Server with ability to tune stored procedures and T-SQL scripting, as well as experience working with large amounts of data. Expertise in infrastructure as code and automating production data and ML pipelines Hands-on work in on-prem to cloud migration, preferably in Azure Azure experience as it pertains to PaaS (Platform as a Service) offerings (Synapse, ADLS, DataBricks, Event Hubs, CosmosDB, Azure ML, etc.) Experience building, governing, and scaling data warehouses/lakes/lake houses Adeptness with agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, problem-solving and analytical skills What we would like to see Master's Degree in Computer Science About FinThrive FinThrive is advancing the healthcare economy.
