What You Will Do
- Learn the business, company structure, customer groups, and job profiles through research, shadowing, and training.
- Be a dynamic individual who builds relationships with Hiring Managers to understand talent pipeline needs and goals.
- Attend company networking events to represent HR and build company relationships.
- Use and maintain recruiting database and CRM (GreenHouse).
- Performs a variety of other Human Resources initiatives as requested by HR leadership, as well as other senior leadership.
Internship Program
- Design, execute, and continuously improve a robust internship program that builds a strong talent pipeline and elevates the company's employer brand by ensuring a valuable and engaging experience for interns, including offers, onboarding, training, mentoring, and planning intern networking and give-back events.
- Manage all Intern Program logistics, including: updating and planning annual orientation and closeout presentations events, compliance and safety standards for all student programs, ensuring activities adhere to company policies and legal requirements for minors and Interns, coordinating and securing housing for summer for Interns, developing and maintaining Champion training, collaborating and designing a 10-week schedule of learning.
- Continuously build relationships and grow a passive candidate network.
- Utilize social media platforms to promote the Internship program and outreach activities, and enhance the company's employer brand within the construction industry.
- Represent the company at college career fairs and industry events to promote job opportunities and build relationships with prospective candidates.
Outreach
- Oversee and expand outreach programs with community colleges, high schools, military organizations, etc., to continue to increase awareness and interest in industry careers, foster early connections, and diverse future talent pools.
- Research construction related programs and evaluate opportunities to determine the appropriate level of involvement.
Strategy / Marketing
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in recruiting to ensure Caddell's strategies remain innovative and effective.
- Develop and implement targeted candidate engagement campaigns (email and SMS) using tools like Grayscale, BombBombs, etc.
- Utilize social media platforms to attract candidates, promote job openings, and enhance the company's employer brand within the construction industry, including original content creation.
- Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and recruiting activities in the applicant tracking system and CRM (GreenHouse).
- Coordinate with the Marketing team to create and order dynamic and engaging materials for events.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or related field. An advanced degree or certification is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in internship program management, campus recruiting, or early career development.
- Experience designing or facilitating youth outreach programs is highly desirable.
- Strong project management, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders, develop strategic initiatives, and manage multiple priorities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities -
- Communication: Strategic thinker with operational execution excellence. Outstanding oral and written communication skills. Comfortable leading and presenting in small and large groups.
- Initiative & Adaptability: Collaborative approach to analyze the Internship program and pivot to solutions that better fit the changing Intern and company needs.
- Organizational Skills: The ability to prioritize, manage time well, and work closely with the business to quickly address needs and adjust focus as needed. Experience with an applicant tracking system (GreenHouse) to document, manage, and move candidates through the interview process is preferred.
- Relationship Building: Ability to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders. Passionate about Interns' experience, including candidate follow-up.
While the salary range is typically between $69,875 - $93,200 annually, applicants are encouraged to share compensation expectations as part of the application process.
