What You Will Do
- Learn the business, company structure, customer groups, and job profiles through research, shadowing, and training.
- Be a dynamic individual who builds strong relationships with academic institutions, students, and internal stakeholders to ensure a robust pipeline of future candidates while using a campus-first lens.
- Attend company networking events to represent HR and build company relationships.
- Performs a variety of other Human Resources initiatives as requested by HR leadership, as well as other senior leadership.
Industry Recruiting
- Recruiting for special projects, office, early career, and other positions.
- Creatively source and maintain communication with passive and active qualified candidates using various resources to build and maintain a quality talent pipeline
- Engages in the Welcome Experience of new hires, in offices, and at project sites.
- Schedule and conduct job intake meetings with Hiring Managers, gathering information for offer negotiation options.
Strategic / Marketing
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in campus recruiting to ensure Caddell's strategies remain innovative and effective.
- Develop and implement targeted candidate engagement campaigns (email and SMS) using tools like Grayscale, BombBombs, etc.
- Partner and collaborate with Marketing, Business Unit, and departments to execute recruitment marketing initiatives.
- Utilize social media platforms to attract candidates, promote job openings, and enhance the company's employer brand within the construction industry, including original content creation.
- Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and recruiting activities in the applicant tracking system and CRM (GreenHouse).
- Coordinate with the Marketing team to create and order materials for events.
College Recruiting
- Identifies and attracts top talent from universities and colleges; screens candidate resumes, conducts and oversees interviews, and assesses candidates' qualifications for suitability.
- Plan, coordinate, promote, and attend campus recruiting events, such as career fairs, corporate tailgates, information sessions, and networking events.
- Research construction-related degree programs and evaluate schools to determine the appropriate level of involvement.
- Coordinate annual campus recruiting events with the internal teams to ensure consistent recruiting processes throughout the company and provide coverage for campus events and activities.
- Develop an effective network of key talent from job fairs and social networking to recruit potential candidates.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. An advanced degree or certification is a plus.
- 2-5 years of Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Campus recruiting, or University programs experience, focusing on corporate recruiting strategy and implementation.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities -
- Relationship Building:Proven ability to build rapport and maintain partnerships with diverse stakeholders: university faculty, student organizations, internal teams, and prospective candidates. Passionate about a thoughtful candidate experience throughout the full selection process.
- Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills tailored to student audiences and business leaders; to effectively convey the employer brand and Caddell opportunities. Comfortable presenting in small and large group settings.
- Organizational Skills:Strong organizational abilities to efficiently manage multiple events, interview schedules, candidate pipelines, priorities, and deadlines. Experience with an applicant tracking system and CRM (GreenHouse).
- Initiative & Adaptability:Proactive in identifying solutions and flexible to quickly adjust recruiting strategies based on evolving business needs, campus dynamics, and industry trends.
- Data-Driven Decision Making and Strategic Thinking:Ability to utilize data and metrics for evaluating recruiting strategies and making well-informed decisions.
- Team Collaboration:Experience collaborating with hiring managers, HR teams, and stakeholders to align recruiting efforts with organizational goals. Ability to evaluate resumes based on feedback and assess based on skill set and fit for various positions.
- Results Orientation:Drive to achieve recruiting targets and deliver high-quality and long-term candidates who contribute to Caddell's collective success.
While the salary range is typically between $69,875 - 93,200 annually, applicants are encouraged to share compensation expectations as part of the application process.
