Overview
The Medical Staff Quality Coordinator performs duties related to the Medical Staff Quality functions, which include but are not limited to coordination of quality files for new and established healthcare providers, maintaining mandatory education information follow-up, data collection, data entry, and document review. Coordinates Continuing Medical Education and peer review functions of the Medical Staff. Participates in all facets of medical staff meetings, which includes scheduling, distributing notices, recording minutes, as appropriate. Performs other duties, as assigned.
Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Education and Experience Associates degree and 3 years of healthcare office experience preferred (healthcare facility, managed care setting, CVO, or medical staff office) Completion of a medical terminology course is required within 1 year. Skills and Abilities

The employee is required to frequently reach with hands and arms, finger, handle, talk and hear. Manual dexterity is required. Required to work at multiple sites. Valid driver's licenses is required. Level of Supervision Some independent judgement is required, but alternatives are limited by standard practices and procedures.
