Accounting Support Specialist Level 4

Boston Government Services, LLC. (BGS) is seeking an Accounting Support Specialist Level 4 to support our nuclear solutions mission at the Y12 National Security Complex, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

Responsibilities:

The Y-12 National Security Complex has three primary national security missions that protect our country and our allies around the world. Maintaining the US nuclear stockpile, reducing global threats, and fueling the US Nuclear Navy are key activities at this historic site.

As the Accounting Support Specialist Level 4, you'll perform accounting duties on a part-time basis in support of organizational financial activities using the SAP Enterprise Accounting System, which may include any of the functions noted below:

• Audit official business domestic and foreign travel expense settlements in accordance with company policy and federal requirements.
• Adjust travel settlements, reversing entries for unallowable costs and communicating discrepancies to affected employees.
• Ensure any monetary amount owed to the company because of audit adjustments is collected and posted correctly.
• Monitor outstanding travel settlements pending submission for settlement and all payments due to the company; communicate with the related employee for prompt resolution.
• Perform audit and payment process of Consultant/Personal Services, Fixed Price and Cost Type subcontracts in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions of the related purchase order, ensuring proper charging practices.
• Research historical payment data and resolve discrepancies as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must have a high school diploma.
• This position requires 6 years of experience.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening exam.

Location/Work Arrangement:

• Onsite at the Y12 National Security Complex, located in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
• Schedule is full-time, Monday - Thursday 40-hour week.
