Job Summary

The Sr. Pharma Storage Technician is responsible for the safe and proper handling of client products in accordance with company procedures and client specific requirements. This is a cross-functional and cross-campus position that is challenged with a daily routine that changes based on client demand and generally takes place in a fast-paced work environment at varying environmental conditions.



On-Site Expectations

    100% on-site position.
  • 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.


Responsibilities

  • Handle product appropriately and enter information electronically into the applicable system.
  • Receive product in accordance with company and client requirements.
  • Inventory client products in accordance with company and client requirements.
  • Ship client products in accordance with company and client requirements.
  • Closely monitor temperature in chambers while performing operations.
  • Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
  • Document and report discrepancies.
  • Operate temperature monitoring devices.
  • Escort customers as needed.
  • Facilitate or lead "on the floor" client specific activities or projects.
  • Report questionable issues to management for evaluation and determination.
  • Assist courier runs to ensure the proper handling of client product.
  • Support Quality initiatives and actively participate in audits and investigations.
  • Become a member of the on-call monitoring team, if eligible.
  • Assist with daily scheduling of labor for work activities.
  • Understand and comply with Safety Data Sheets.
  • Performs customer specific processes, independent verification, and investigations.
  • Author and revise standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Successfully manages tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Sets the tone for area regarding right first time, on-time delivery, and compliance.
  • Trains staff and other personnel.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4+ years GMP experience required as part of their relevant experience.
  • HS/GED with 5+years of relevant experience.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Clean room experience is preferred.
  • Environmental Monitoring experience is preferred.
  • SAP knowledge preferred.

  • Advanced understanding of temperature monitoring and how to detect potential failures.
  • Ability to train effectively.
  • Strong technical knowledge of processes, equipment, and systems in a storage environment.
  • Honesty, integrity, attention to detail, and accountability.
  • GMP/GDP Knowledge.
  • DOT Training, IATA Training.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to interact effectively with auditors.
  • Good problem-solving skills.


Travel Expectations

  • Up to 5% travel required.

This role has the following vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. You will regularly work in an office or lab and be exposed to extreme cold (non-work: warehouse ambient to-80C). You will frequently be exposed to wet or humid conditions, work near moving mechanical parts, be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, or near toxic or caustic chemicals. You occasionally will work in high places, be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, risk of electrical shock and vibration. This role requires the ability to wear and utilize a respirator. This role works with a moderate noise level (business office with computers/printers and light traffic).
