As Commvault's MarTech leader, you will be key to shaping our marketing technology strategy and execution. You will take a strategic approach to the selection, acquisition, implementation and management of technology with a goal to significantly advance performance across sales and marketing. With a modern, entrepreneurial style, you will work cross-functionally with Marketing, IT, Sales and our Channel organization to ensure our MarTech ecosystem is scalable, effective, and innovative.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role. You'll need to be both strategic and executional, comfortable defining big-picture initiatives while rolling up your sleeves to implement them.Other responsibilities include the ownership & development of Marketo to support digital marketing, field marketing and sales activation. You will develop the architectural strategy (with input from key stakeholders), governance and day-to-day approach to create a scalable MAP approach for Marketing. Collaborate, and gain buy in to deliver on identified business priorities that MAP supports.

What You'll Do...



  • Lead a team of 7 implementation and automation professionals to foster a culture of innovation and excellence
  • Align technology to process & data flow with the goal of seeding, creating and nurturing demand
  • Define and champion the long-term vision of our MarTech evolution aligned with business objectives
  • Identify and address capability gaps, assess technology fit and work to evolve the stack against changing marketing needs
  • Direct ROI-driven procurement and rationalization of tools including cost management and adoption
  • Guide strategic decision-making by evaluating and prioritizing tech business cases and investment trade-offs
  • Ensure that MarTech initiatives are fully aligned with broader go-to-market strategies through effective leadership and facilitation of meetings such as a MarTech council
  • Deploy, develop and support training, and user guides
  • Guide marketing automation campaign/program activations in support of global marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Own the strategic development and optimization of Marketo including governance, technical deployments and development of Marketo Sales Insights
  • Craft, implement and report on advanced targeting, personalization, email and nurture programs in collaboration with campaign management, product marketing, and field marketing
  • Lead the development of email marketing campaigns including planning, producing, segmenting, A/B testing, deployment, reporting and optimization to ensure maximum impact



Who You Are...



  • Combined 10 years' experience managing a marketing technology stack including experience leading marketing automation in a global environment
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of modern marketing technology and automation fluency with a strong desire to innovate, agentic AI experience a plus
  • Possess a forward-thinking mindset to identify and implement new solutions
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning
  • Proven track record with an Enterprise Marketing Automation Platform, such as Marketo,- Marketo certification preferential
  • Comprehensive knowledge of email marketing,including design, delivery, analysis, legislation, authentication/reputation systems, mobile optimization and general industry trends and metrics
  • Knowledge of the web and web technology (HTML and Basic CSS)
  • Exceptional ability to establish relationships and partner cross functionally
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Superior project management skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams and initiatives
  • Clear and effective communication a must
