Position Title: Configuration Management Specialist

Clearance Level: Secret Position Overview:
We are seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to join our team in San Diego, CA on a Navy program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining control over all hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software configuration management processes. This role is vital to ensuring consistency, traceability, and accountability across the entire product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee configuration management activities related to hardware, software, and documentation.
Maintain and track configuration baselines for systems and products.
Collaborate with the Configuration Control Board (CCB) to define, implement, and enforce configuration and change control procedures.
Manage product release processes and ensure proper documentation for all changes.
Provide expert guidance on change management processes and best practices.
Support audits, reviews, and reporting of configuration management status.
Ensure alignment of configuration management practices with program and organizational goals.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in any field.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in configuration management.
Strong understanding of configuration management principles, tools, and processes.
Experience working with configuration control boards and product lifecycle management.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment

Total compensation range is $100,000-150,000 based on applicable skills and experience. Our co
mpensation package includes 401k match, health insurance, life and disability, PTO, and additional benefits
