Acquisition Logistics Manager Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Acquisition Logistics Manager to support the Datalink Routing And Gateways for Aerial Networks (DRAGAN) program, which is within the Aerila Networks Division (AFLCMC/HNA) and located at Hanscom AFB, MA. WORK LOCATION: Hanscom AFB, MA JOB STATUS: Full-time; Salaried QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree and 10 years' experience of which 3 years must be in the DoD; or 15 years' experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree, of which 5 must be in the DoD.
- Current US Secret clearance.
- Experience in a DoD system acquisition program office or PEO organization.
- Able to communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately, both orally and in writing.
- Proficient in MS Office suite and Zoom
- Able to work in a dynamic environment and establish and maintain effective and positive working relationships with internal DoD activities, other federal agencies, and industry partners.
- Demonstrated maturity and ability in handling classified and sensitive information with discretion and sound judgement.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with planning, evaluation and implementation of program acquisition and sustainment strategies to meet DoD 5000.2 guidance and support the BlackArrow program. These includes identifying the specific requirements for funding, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services needed to support the program and correlating those requirements with program plans to assure that the support is provided at the right time and place.
- Provide support to government analyses, development of options, analysis of each option, and recommended solutions with in-depth technical justification and background
- Prepares and delivers briefings to government and external stakeholders to support acquisition decision milestones and sustainment planning efforts.
- Develop logistics planning documents to include, but not limited to: Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs), system delivery, deployment and disposition plans, production and delivery schedules, Product Support Business Case Analyses, Depot Source of Repair (DSOR)/ Source of Repair Assignment (SORA) packages, and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources plans, including research and identification of alternative components where required; and other reports as required.
- Direct/active participation and leadership as appropriate in logistics/sustainment technical discussions/meetings both internally and externally to the program office.
- Reviews and assesses contractor submitted documents (e.g. milestone schedules, status reports, cost performance reports, contractor master plans, and integration master schedules) to determine accuracy and identify/report inconsistencies.
- Provides regular inputs to the Program Manager regarding the Prime contractor's logistics support performance to facilitate Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) review.
