Job Details ResponsibilitiesJob Description The Department of Neurology at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University is recruiting academic neurologists in clinical educator and physician-scientist tracks at assistant to full-professor levels. Positions are available for Neurologists specializing inMultiple Sclerosis. Positions are also available forbasic scientistsinterested in the etiology and pathogenesis of neurological diseases. The Department of Neurology at Jefferson, one of the oldest in the country, currently has ~70 full time faculty. The Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience (JHN) is located at the center of the Jefferson campus in historic downtown Philadelphia. JHN provides facilities for neurology, neurosurgery, neuroradiology, and neurological research. There is opportunity for joint appointments with related basic science departments. Extensivecollaboration with neuroscientists and other disciplines across the campus is ongoing.
