We specialize in VOIP installation and support, access control systems, security camera installation, and other low-voltage wiring projects. Position: ISP Technician I - Low Voltage Installation Job Description: As an ISP Technician I, you will assist with the on-site installation of voice, data, fiber optic cable systems, security systems, CCTV, and paging equipment. This is an entry-level role ideal for individuals eager to learn and grow in the low-voltage industry. Key Responsibilities: * Identify and prepare pathways and supports for new cabling systems * Pull copper, coaxial, and fiber optic cables in backbone, horizontal, and riser environments * Terminate voice and data jacks and patch panels * Cross-connect voice cables on 66 or 110 blocks * Assist in building out data closets (installing ladder racks, cable trays, data racks, and rack-mounted equipment) * Learn to read blueprints and identify cabling pathways * Follow all building codes and safety standards * Communicate effectively with technicians, foremen, field supervisors, and coworkers * Assist with testing copper cable installations and learn to use testing equipment * Accurately complete timesheets, expense reports, mileage logs, and other job-related paperwork * Perform additional duties as needed to support project success Required Skills: * Cable pulling and installation (Cat5, Cat6) * Structured cabling * Access control and CCTV systems * Rack and stack experience * Wireless access point installation Qualifications: * 2-3 years of experience in low-voltage installation preferred * Experience with Cat5/Cat6 cabling (fiber experience is a plus, but training is available) * Must have personal hand tools (power tools will be provided) * Valid driver's license required (DMV check is part of the background process) * Strong desire to learn, take direction, and grow within the role Experience Level: Entry Level Reports To: Low Voltage Services Director *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
