IT Desktop Support Technician Onsite \| New Haven, CT Experience Required: 2-3 years in desktop support Our client is seeking a dedicated Desktop Support Technician to join our team and help drive excellence in end-user support. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic, moderately complex computing environment where your technical skills, customer focus, and team collaboration will be valued every day. What You'll Do: * Provide desktop support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues * Manage desktop environments including OS/application installation and updates * Administer user and group accounts via Active Directory * Perform routine system backups and file restores * Train users on equipment and application usage * Collaborate with peers to ensure smooth integration of systems * Recommend and implement workgroup solutions tailored to departmental needs What We're Looking For: * 2-3 years of desktop support experience * Proficiency in Windows 10, Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, and troubleshooting desktop hardware * Familiarity with both Mac and PC platforms a plus * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Comfortable supporting users in person-this role is 100% onsite Preferred Qualifications: * Experience leading or facilitating in-person and virtual training * Working knowledge of at least one coding/scripting language * Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
