Role: Business Systems Analyst Location: Hybrid -* Candidates based in the New England region preferred (monthly on-site visits required) Length: 6-month contract Overview: A global organization is seeking two experienced Business Systems Analysts to support a large-scale laboratory information management system (LIMS) initiative. This role involves shaping business requirements, translating them into effective technical solutions, and collaborating with Agile product teams. Ideal candidates will be proactive problem-solvers with strong technical skills and business insight. Key Responsibilities:* Gather and refine business requirements Create user stories and manage product backlogs Collaborate in an Agile environment with developers, QA, DevOps, and project managers Translate business goals into scalable technical solutions Support system testing and documentation Work hands-on with data using SQL/Python Proactively identify risks and contribute to issue resolution Required Skills:* 5+ years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst role Familiarity with Agile/Scrum tools (e.g., Jira, Rally) Strong analytical and technical problem-solving abilities Preferred Experience:* Working knowledge of AWS, Snowflake, MySQL, SQL, Python* Exposure to Big Data technologies (e.g., Spark, MongoDB, Hadoop) Experience with estimation tools and* project management platforms* Proficiency in data analysis using SQL* * Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $57.11 - $66.67/hr.
