Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a NYU Multidisciplinary Addiction Training Fellow.

In this role, the successful candidate Full time NYU-MAT Fellows will train and work with us full-time across NYU Langone and affiliated healthcare institutions, with the possibility of certification in addiction advanced practice depending on discipline.
Fellows will work and learn with three NYU Langone addiction medicine fellows and the scholars in the NYU-MAT scholarship program. They will gain experience in diverse addiction care settings, including outpatient and inpatient rotations at NYU Langone and NYC Health + Hospital locations, as well as Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) sites, such as residential treatment centers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Rotate across H+H sites and treatment centers to gain hands-on experience.
  • Collaborate with NYU Addiction Medicine Fellows for a multidisciplinary approach.
  • Provide comprehensive social work services for addiction intervention.
  • Engage in addiction medicine curriculum for continuous professional development.
  • Contribute to community outreach initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
Current licensure as LMSW or LCSW in the state of New York.
Demonstrated passion for addressing addiction-related issues.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $41,860.00 - $60,060.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
