Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We're looking for a Credit Risk Analyst to join our ever-evolving Risk team and help us unleash the potential of every business.

What you'll own as the Credit Risk Analyst

  • Analyze financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements) of existing and prospective merchant clients to assess creditworthiness and financial stability.
  • Interpret key financial ratios (liquidity, profitability, leverage, efficiency) to evaluate business performance and potential risk in processing relationships.
  • Collaborate with underwriting and risk teams to assess the financial health of merchants and recommend risk mitigation strategies for accounts presenting heightened risk.
  • Facilitate in monitoring the ongoing financial performance of high-risk merchant portfolios and flag early signs of financial distress through periodic internal reviews.
  • Identify trends and anomalies in merchant business models that may pose financial or reputational risk.
  • Support due diligence and financial analysis during new merchant onboarding and periodic reviews.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred but strong demonstrated experience will be considered.
  • 2-5 years of experience in financial statement analysis preferably in financial services, fintech or payments.
  • Familiarity with credit card and ACH processing ecosystem, merchant acquiring, and risk management practices preferred.
  • Strong analytical, written, and oral communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
